Mechanical Engineers

Mechanical engineers have challenging opportunities to work in Sales, Application, Manufacturing, Quality, and Research engineering departments. For example:

Application Engineers are involved in analyzing customer inquiries for heat transfer and vacuum equipment requirements and developing competitive quotations which will be profitable to the company and meet customer needs. Provides direct support to Sales. Travel requirements may include domestic or international assignments.

Project Engineers are involved in assigned contracts from the administration and design, through fabrication and shipment, to successful field operation. Travel requirements may include domestic or international assignments.

Qualifications: BSME, BSMET, or BSCHE with emphasis on thermodynamics/heat transfer/fluid flow.

Service Technicians

Under the direction of the Aftermarket Business Unit Manager, Service Technicians are responsible for all aspects of service work both in-house and in the field.

Service Technicians develop and set up performance testing, write test reports, perform service work and start-up assistance to customers, handle customer service calls, and maintain appropriate records.

Qualifications: Minimum educational requirements is ASMET. Availability for worldwide travel is required.

Welders

Welders will perform all position welding on an assortment of structures and weldments in accordance with ASME code requirements, alignments, and dimensional specifications. Requires a broad knowledge of welding technology in additional to extensive welding experience, and will be required to pass ASME Section IX welding qualifications.

Qualifications: High school diploma/GED and BOCES or trade school training in welding or minimum two years weld shop experience required.

CNC Machine Operators

Working from blueprints, sketches, specifications, sets-up, adjusts, programs, and operates a computerized numerical control (CNC) machining center. Will be familiar with the operation manual and will be required to perform all operations and functions as described in manual.

Qualifications: High school diploma/GED and BOCES or trade school training.
