COVID19 NOTICE

May 14, 2020

Following a three week period which began on March 20th, where production was extremely limited in our Batavia facility, we started ramping up our production personnel on April 13th.  We are nearing our pre-COVID-19 headcount in our factory, subject to numerous new health and safety protocols as recommended by our federal and local authorities.  These include appropriate PPE to be worn by everyone onsite, social distancing markers, staggered employee breaks and meetings to reduce group gatherings, expanded hygiene practices, and barriers to separate workers based on our plant layout configuration.  At the beginning of the shutdown, we deployed numerous laptop computers to our sales, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance, and administrative personnel to facilitate their new work-from-home routines.  Those employees who are able, will continue to be encouraged to work from home for the near term.  Although inconvenient at times, work-from-home has proven quite productive.

We will continue to limit external visitors to our Batavia facility and those few that are being allowed must be pre-approved.

We at Graham continue to work diligently to protect our workforce while endeavoring to minimize the unfavorable impact to our business partners.  What will not change is our commitment to do everything that we can to service our customers and suppliers.

Effective Friday, March 20 at 3:30 pm, Batavia is closing temporarily.  With work force safety and well-being a top priority, Batavia will enter into a two-week shutdown as we fight Covid-19 and its impact.  We will reopen for business as normal on April 6 at normally scheduled shift times.  All employees are to return to work on April 6 unless directed otherwise by management. 
The objective for this closure is to protect the health and safety of our employees by preventing people from coming together unnecessarily.  We want and encourage all of you to stay home and follow the CDC guidelines.

Graham Corporation Facility Visitor Procedures 

Given the coronavirus outbreak’s continued spread and to protect the health of everyone at our facility, only business critical visitors will be permitted at Graham. Also, all scheduled in-person meetings will be held virtually, when able. We will now require additional screening of all business critical visitors prior to entry into any of our buildings.  

Effective immediately, all visitors entering any of Graham’s buildings are required to complete the Graham Visitor Health Screening Questionnaire

if any questions are answered “yes”, access will be denied and the visitor will be asked to reschedule their meeting or make other arrangements. 

If you have traveled to any of the following countries, had close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or have cold or flu-like symptoms within the last 14 days, access will be denied. Locations will be updated as needed.
